Netflix—Airport—Commercial Ad
Ah yes. This commercial depicts perfectly the wonder that a film is. The wonder of love that films so often depict. The excitement. The hope. The surging conviction of imminent union and its resulting euphoria. The chase. The chasm between souls. The promise of a bridge built to traverse that chasm. The mundane subdued by an experience almost spiritual. A simple, humble personage uplifted into a state of exhilaration. Scaling heights, descending valleys, navigating treacherous terrains of…crowded hallways and steep stairwells…Bearing the burden of fitness thrust upon an unpracticed, unfit body…Scanning, searching, gazing, gauging. Hoping. Hoping. Dispelling the mundane and all its’ trappings with the aspiration of…being able to see Netflix?
